Myofascial Release (including C-Section Scar Tissue)
Fascia is the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every structure in the body. When fascia becomes restricted, through injury, surgery, posture, or stress, it can contribute to pain, pulling sensations, and reduced mobility.
Myofascial release uses gentle, sustained pressure to soften and release these restrictions, restoring ease of movement and reducing discomfort.
For women who have had a C-section, scar tissue can create significant fascial restriction, not only at the surface, but deeper into the abdominal layers and surrounding structures. This can affect core function, pelvic alignment, bladder comfort, and back pain. Targeted C-section scar tissue treatment helps soften adhesions, restore sensation, and support the healing of the abdominal wall over time.
All scar work is gentle, consent-based, and always paced to your comfort.
Healing the marks that motherhood leaves behind.
